Our Story
Founded in 2023, Marina Mella’s first atelier was created to share her expertise and creativity with local fashion communities. Her experience and passion for alterations and design quickly matched Miami’s neon-glow personality, drawing together a team of skilled designers, stylists, and seamstresses —each with their own story, style, and creative voice.

Marina Mella
What does a lifetime of tailoring mean?
It means understanding a garment from its very first sketch to its final stitch—and everything in between. My name is Marina, and I am the founder of Marina Mella Tailoring.
I was introduced to tailoring as a young girl by my grandmother, working beside her at a manual sewing machine. From that moment on, fashion became my world.
I studied fashion design and pattern-making in Greece, and my skills were slowly crafted inside some of the premier bridal houses in Europe, as well as my own industrial manufactures and boutiques!
Today, my experience allows me to understand clothing at every stage of its creation, whether the work involves precise alterations, a custom wedding gown, or bringing to life your own creative ideas.
